I'm opting out of this one early... although I'd probably have time to pull something out of the bag I don't think I can be bothered trying to emulate another artist, especially a one famous for visual illusions. It sounds too much of a pain in the ass to come up with something original. I'll save all of my creativity for the next one ;)

Wow, this is gonna be a hard one to pull off in under 15 minutes (my goal for every single competition, mwahhaha)

It's also ok not to mention it everytime you can't take part in one of these. Nobody's expecting you guys to do every single one.

If you can, great. If not, don't worry about it.

A: The world isn't round, it's flat.
B: Flat?
A: Yes flat, and it rides aroung the cosmos on the back of a giant turtle.
B: Well what does the turtle stand on?
A: Another turtle.
B: And what does that turtle stand on?
A: Another turtle.
B: And what does that turtle stand on?
A: You don't seem to get it, it's just turtles all the way down.

Had to do this in a rush and post it tonight, (well this morning, it's now 1.30am and I have to be up for work in 5 hours), because I'm out bowling for the next two nights. Anyway, here you go.

I made the canvas smaller this time because I always seem to post huge canvases. Can someone advise what's best please.

that seems more... magritte, google the name (look for the one where a light post becomes an apple and half the landscape is night and the other is day), the reason being, escher's globe and hand look alot like that yes...but the point of that piece was the way a globe twists reflections

still it is a great work, no arguement there, just seems not quite escher, correct me if im wrong (in which case sorry)

edit: i realize this is a great globe and hand, and the triangle is a nice bit too, so it still pretty escher, just leaving the rest so you can see what i said the first time

The picture doesn't have to look like it was drawn by Escher, the remit of 'If Escher was God' means you can draw what the hell you like in whatever style you like, so long as what you do suggests that Escher might have had a hand (ha :) ) in creating the universe that your drawing is of.Nice work Dusty.
