i came up with this WHOLE technique completely on my own. no help, just experimentation. i thought that just mebbe, you guys would like to see it.

Great tutorial! I am very impressed, I would have thought this would get more feedback! I will use this tutorial and look out for oyur work in the future! One comment tohugh, the skin is a bit orange after overlay... i guess this could be edited using screen or adjusting the hue. Overall a nice tut!

I have always wondered how you manage to get the efefcts you do in your CG's ... very interesting to see your method ....... I might try your style.... then screw it all up and call it mine... heheheh.

Nyah, kidding, I think it's interesting but I am working on my own style also....

But..eh...that's a ton of layers...
lol. Do people really use that many when coloring? That'll take ages!

If you look closely at the crotch area, you'll see it IS a girl! ;)
Apart from the lack of this anatomic detail, nice tutorial, baka!
