ya well, i just finished Tokyo Mew Mew (the manga), and i have to say, the ending just about killed me. those of you who've read it should know what i mean. u betrayed me ichigo!!!!!!! ak!!! masaya i hate u right now!!! and kish can just come with me! so now i'm really depressed and its been two weeks. and i need a suggestion......badly!!!:ugh:
I thought about xxxholic, comic party, or model, but for some reason i guess they just didn't appeal to me.
i'm also reading saiyuke, pretear(just started), and juvenile orion (yes, i know what u all have to say about that and i agree so don't bother...its just so darn pretty. lol) but none of em are really that great. don't get me wrong though cuz they are good.
and i haven't been able to get the third pitaten for like three months!!!!!!!!! depressing!!! and am waiting on the next immortal rain and tokyo babylon.
i'm not really in to the real action-packed ones i guess.
my all-time favorites are chobits, immortal rain, the demon ororon, and fruits basket, just to get an idea of me tastes.
so...any suggestions? (i know this sounds really stupid and i'm sorry for making u suffer..)

It's okay, but I think you posted a topic similar to this a few weeks ago or so.
I've seen tokyo mew mew in book stores, It appeared to be...odd. What's it like.

well, i posted something specifically about ororon's sequel.
anyway, i started tokyo mew mew a few months ago because i was depressed with finishing a series by my fav author and wanted something cute and happy (yes, i know it was foolish of me). but the first few books were so cute and stupid and more of a parody on manga...and just so darn cute! the whole "save the planet from the evil aliens" thing...but just so cute!!! but then little things in the book started to annoy me...like how the author was like incapable of any other style or of drawing adults (ichigo's parents looked like freaks...and younger than her!). then the story line tried to get really serious and then just too corny. and then the last book killed it. it just started getting really weird. then everyone just dropped dead. but kish died well, i have to say, so then it would've been okay, but then no!!! because of some stupid mew mew aqua the entire city was completely restored and somehow(unexplained) everyone just magically wasn't dead anymore and ichigo had this huge wedding to masaya and everything was just peachy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u can't bring people back to life in manga okay!!! u just can't or it will turn into an american cartoon or DBZ!!!!! (grant it, it can be pulled off in some remote instances)

ranma 1/2, love hina, dragon ball (seriously, the original non-dubbed is hilarious), bleach, one piece (maybe), shaman king (maybe), and...Naruto (lol it's an action manga/anime but nyone can enjoy it) will do you some good.
Edit: KareKano (full title Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou) might also suit your tastes

(the only thing ive seen is nakedness)

It's not all nakedness, thiers groping, kissing, sexual ineudos, and the ocassional pedophilia. But really, if you get aroused by reading a Love Hina comic, thats just sad.
Which brings up the question.
Is Kietaro a lucky pervert, or an inlucky klutz?

Off topic, but my roommate went to Yaoi Con and brought me back a Nazi pr0n yaoi manga. It was badly drawn, but very entertaining. That would get your mind off of a bad ending :P

tokyo mew mew was cool. i read it bout a year ago. i got the whole seiries. the ending was kinda...weak. i thought it stared out good and then it kinda got to lovey-dovey between ichigo and masaya. didnt really like how it ended. but wait...its not over yet! i think in april another part of the story is coming out. tokyo a la mode. theres a new main character who is part bunny-cat-human. weird! but theres anew bad guy and ichigo is in england with masaya. its weird. thats only 2 volumes tho.

ya, the first couple of books were awesome and soooooo cute!, and i VERY rarely drop a series, so of course it is now part of me wonderful collection....**contented sigh*** but the ending really just pushed me over the edge though. but u know what, i'm okay now **twitch twitch**. hehe. naw, its had time to settle. plus i just finished Eragon which was actually really good despite its typical theme... and now i'm obsessed with saiyuki. i can't believe i was about to drop the series after the first one!!! and the new alichino is pretty good...beautifully dark and differenet and just refreshing. nothing really great though. and pretear is awesome, pita-ten is getting way better, the next tokyo babylon will come out next month, and the next immortal rain in april. ...

Maison Ikkoku is pretty good... It's a Rumiki Takahashi or what ever her name is :P the person that did ramna... sort of like chobits by setting but it has an eighties feel to it because believe it or not it's old oh and no robots that I'm aware of. I've only read upto volume 5 or 6 though because our public library stopped getting them in lol I think they thought they were kiddy comics cos they were in the childrens section and I assume they stopped getting them in when they noticed swear words and the odd bit of nekkyness type stuff
