Shit, I watched that like 6 years ago. Subbed version of course, but probably superior to whatever shitty dub Disney pumps out.

The only dub complaint I had was for the girl who did Nausicaa's voice. Everyone else kicked ass. I remember having a really old dub of it where they called the giant bugs gorgons instead of ohms so I was confuzzled for half the movie heheheh.

But I mean, c'mon, The Picard (Patrick Stewart) did Lord Yuppa! And Uma Thurman was in there too. :D

Aires : No doubt in my mind, the best movie Hayao Miyazaki ever made (The guy who made Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc...).

It's nothing like Spirited Away, just made by the same guy.

Sure. It takes place sometime 1,000+ years into the future, after some sort of apocolyptic destruction of the world by these giant fire weapons (possibly bio-organisms created by man or god). It starts off in a very small peaceful kingdom called The Valley of the Wind, until one of the weapons ends up "landing" there. At which point, two much larger kingdoms start fighting to reclaim it. Because of this, a giant toxic jungle that spans much of the world is upset by the disturbance and colossal insects are set out to destroy humanity.

Nausicaa?

Um...uh? God bless you?

Sounds like an illness. :)

I've seen the commerials for it on television but it doesn't look like it will float my boat since I prefer to paddle my own canoe.

Porco Rosso is out as well. A movie which I, personally, think is a bit better than Nausicaa. Both are excellent films, it's just that Porco Rosso was much more entertaining for me. Hopefully they got a good actor for his voice.

I'll need to pick both of these up soon.
