bubble gum crisis and evangelion

Hiz!!! me again;) I was wondering if anyone else liked bubblegum crisis, coz i realised dat barely anyone talked about it:squint: !!!!! Also is the evangelion box set worth the price????:confused:

Bubblegum Crisis is okay. I've only seen the first few episodes of Evangelion because Cartoon Network stopped playing it for some reason.

I enjoyed Bubble Gum Crisis when I first saw it. It doesn't quite excite me the way it did when I was 13, but I still look back on it fondly.

As for the Eva boxed set, if you can afford it, yes.

i've got the entire Bubblegum Crisis 2040 series on DVD. i like it. not seen the original though.

I just recently traded in my entire Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 collection so I could buy some CDs instead... but back in high school I couldn't get enough of it.

I have yet to see either of these two anime series.

Haven't really heard much about what Bubble Gum Crisis is all about but I've heard plenty of good things about Evangelion.

bubble gum crisis is about this group of girls that destroy robots that are called voomers, the whole tv show is very gritty and dark. But yeah, the suits the girls wear are voomers as well.....

It sounds boring, but it is pretty good

Except for it being pronounced 'boomer' and for their suits not being 'boomers'.

Boomers are androids, the girl's suits are just powered battle suits designed to augment physical abilities.
You know, like from every mecha anime ever.

I'll have to really see Evangelion. Toonami once showed a few episodes of it a couple years back for their Robot Week anime shows.

By the looks of it Bubble Gum Crisis seems to be a raunchy way of big boobed women in battle armor suits to fight off whatever it is they fight, personally not my kind of thing.

I've only read Adam Warren's short but sweet graphic novel called Bubble Gum Crisis: Grand Mal. Its characters have some nice depth to them, and (bonus) the art is all in color too.
