Out of all the next-gen console games being released, Zelda for the gamecube is still what I'm awaiting the most.

I honestly don't know why people cling to Final Fantasy so much when rpgs like these exist.

If Nintendo stays true to their word then the new Zelda game will be the best game to come to GameCube and Microsoft and Sony will have their heads lowered in shame with hunched backs.


Final Fantasy is good but Zelda is more fun in my opinion. :D

It was just revealed like, 5 minutes ago. Keep refreshing, it'll work.

And Sin, technicly speaking, Zelda shares pretty much nothing with RPGs. It's an action/adventure game.

it looks good, but I hate the wolf thing. I hope its an optional ability and not forced on you at night or other times. I didnt like majoras mask at all because of the morphing and time control. Im also still skeptical on the worlds size, they said its only 2-3 times bigger than ocarina of time's world, which is still extremely small. I hope they have more details covering how many towns there will be and what the world will consist of.

Could be good though.

Zelda games tend to use a theme nowadays, and playing it revolves around said theme.

Like Orcarina of Time, used it to change times, however, you only had to go back in time... what?.. 2 times? I think it was once to get the lens of truth and the second for the spirit temple. But anywho, this wolf thing could be ok... dont know about that thing riding it though.. THAT makes me skeptical.

Graphics look great, nice to see some ingame footage, the water on that second or third video looks VERY nice.

Gameplay looks good, hope they kept some of the Ocarina of Time stuff, aswell as some of the Wind Waker new stuff (Except that damn boat, what a useless peice... took forever to travel, even with the song)

Sparing with that Goron looks really interesting.

Dont count on it being forced onto you at ALL times, there is video of Link at night, so it would be safe to assume that he isnt going to change into the wolf.

Probably just a couple of annoying parts in the game, every game has bits like that.

It's just the video on the DS cartridge. They gave them away after the Nintendo Press Confrence at E3.

Because it's a novelty E3 promo givaway. It's not supposed to be useful or practical.
It's like when a company gives away one of those rubber balls that lights up when it hits something and has the name of their game printed on it.

FF: maybe I saw the wrong clips...but what I saw was in game. It was primitive and did NOT sound orchestral.

There are only three video clips of the new game, none of them have "primitive" sounding music.

They all have classy orchestral versions of old Zelda themes. Perhaps you just have shitty speakers?
