Hello,
I kinda by accident ran into some wallpapers from the game "Rage of the Dragons". I fell in love with that drawing style.
Now, this is somewhat hard to explain, but I'll give it a shot. I'm new to the wonderful world of manga and anime and I'm looking for things to inspire me. I'm looking for stuff, any stuff, down the line of that style. I wouldn't know how to define it, so'll just post a link to the wallpapers that I'm talking about.

So all hints towards anime, manga, games, whatever are welcome!
Hope I succeeded in making myself understandable. ;)
Thanks a Mil.

Well Zwendel, I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing you were talking about but you could check out the anime Cowboy Bebop if you havn't seen it already. Also check out Samurai Champloo (Here is the site (http://samuraichamploo.com/) ), it was made by the same dude as Cowboy Bebop.
Not sure if that helps, but it is the closest thimg I could think of right now that is related to that style.

Try some of hyung-taekim's works (www.hyung-taekim.org) But you know, there are many styles of artwork, that can still constitute as manga. Look around. And good luck.

Thanks for the tips,
I will look into them right away.
As for Cowboy Beebop, I haven't seen it yet *ahum*.
As I set, this stuff is new to me. ;)
But, I just got "Cowboy Beebop, the movie" as a present.
Cheers!

Oh, that's the Magna Carta guy, I love this stuff. So, you're right on target. ;)
Any more tips?

Eech... well, the movie's a good start, but don't miss out on the Bebop series. It's been a fan favorite for near a decade, and for good reason. The same character designers from bebop also did Wolf's Rain, which has been playing on Adult swim.
The style from the wallpapers you linked to seem similar to the Fire Emblem art (google it up, buddy =E) and although it's a little different, the Guilty Gear style also seems close.
By the way, Falmith, great site and thanks for putting the link up. *bookmarked it*

The guy who did the artwork for Trigun also did the art for the Gungrave game and anime. That's awesome stuff.

For good reason certainly, but its only been six years I think.
Well its not anime or magma but it will give you a touch of the gothic edge

Yeah, Gotic edge indeed. ;)
I know "Spawn" from way back, love both the style and the stories. Although a little to dark to go that wy myself, I should look into them again.
Thanks for the tip!
