I have been looking to get one of the PSP (play station portable). I have heard that it has almost the same power as the PS2 but i dont know.

Does anyone have one?
Are they good?

I wanted to get it with Metal Gear Acid.

I don't have a PSP, but just to let you know, just in case, Metal Gear Ac!d is a card based strategy game.
Although I haven't played it, so maybe an opinion from someone who actually owns the game would be more valid. I hear it's quite good though.

Im thinking of getting the PSP and if i did i would have to get the MGS game.

Metal gear for psp is basically a tactical rpg except using cards. U must use the cards to move and to attack. To be honest i like the game ok. i liked it alot initially but im at a stage that i dont see how im going to get past so i kinda put it down. The Psp isnt a bad thing to buy but just realize there selection of games is pretty low right now. However with the release of a hack with version 1.5 (which should be all us version psp's) you are able to put snes and nes and homebrewn apps on the psp giving you considerably more to do with it.

good luck finding one cuz I heard its sold out in most places. I reserved one months before it came out, and the day I went to pick it up everyone already picked theirs up, and my psp was the very last one...it was funny cuz everyone was complaining that EB wont let them buy that one PSP left cuz they didnt understand that it was mine, just walkin in, pickin it up, and leaving was very funny cuz of the faces that they were makinhttp://polykarbonbbs.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif


as for MGS I dont have it, but I heard it was okay. The graphics on it almost look like PS2 graphics, but toned down a bit... of course the only game I have for it is dark stalkers...
