Has anyone here played it yet? How much is the online monthly fee crap?

Ya, I used to play it a while ago. It's pretty sweet for a while. But unfortunately, you'll soon realize that the missions you're doing are all the EXACT same. I haven't played it quite sometime, but if I remember correctly, it was always a "go save X person in X building" or a "go kill X bad guy" or theres the big long missions that took something like 2 hours to do, straight. And that's about it.

I will say that the character design system is incredible. It's so fun to make your own character. And it's also really fun to see what other people can come up with. I will say tho that I probably only played for about 3 weeks before I got tired of it. That's just me, tho.

Three weeks is pretty impressive. It started to get too monotonous for me at two and a half.

Hehe, well, the only reason I made it to three weeks is because I was playin' online with my brother. Otherwise, I'm not sure how long I woulda gone.

As for the monthly fee, I think it was something like $12, but they give ya one free month. So I never payed it.

I do think this game will be more playable when city of villains gets more available.

Also mods and such are bound to happen.

What exactly does CoV add to the game anyways (besides the obvious title).

I've never played CoH, but one may only assume that instead of just facing the comp with the various missions, CoV will make it a PvP. Which is why many people are antsy about playing it. I'd rather play a villian anyways. There aren't to many games today that let you be the antagonist.

If its as badass as they are hypin' it up to be you can count me in for 3 and 1/2 weeks :)

I think the overall idea of CoV and CoH is great(who doesnt want to fly around a city and have superpowers?)but, they're not doing anythin special with it...I would like watching girls with skin-tight uniforms flyin right by me, but I dont think its worth payin 10-20 a month...
