Like satanicpanic said, the more information we know about your comic book and its characters then the more we can help you with thinking of title names.
( Even if it's just a basic idea of what the comic would be about)

Find something in japanese to use!

Ninja comics are always snatching up the better titles ne ways.

I suggest a few simple names like:

1.Gureru. = To go astray.
2.Kai. = Shell.
3.Dekigokoro. = Sudden Impulse.

It's not like I'd use them! So everybody's free to take the ideas!

You should call it:

Samurai Z
[Name of your main character]
Samurai 8
Samurai [random word]

etc etc

...
I'm just joking btw XD Seriously though, you gotta tell us more about what your comic is about. I also don't suggest you use a title with Japanese in it, as your audience will probably be english readers, thus they'd go WTF when you see your title.

Zabur, we'll leave that title available for you to use. :laugh:

That's a good point there Xion.

Wonder how many of you knows that " bukkake " actully comes from a way to make food.......

You should choose a title that has something to do with the story, a character, or an event.

Good suggestion. Although he isn't limited to just using those, but generally a title usually has something to do with something about the story (person,place,thing) as you already mentioned.

Champloo is an Okinawan word meaning "mixed up" or "stirred together" as in a mixing and matching of elements that create something new altogether.

Basically, it stands for the creation of Samurai Champloo's mixing of hip-hop music and it's new and old invented elements that take place in Japan's Edo era. Anachronisms play a huge part in the show.

Interestingly enough, The word "Samurai" in the name title is rather misleading to assume that Mugen and Jin are samurai. Episode 1 pretty much tells you most of this.

Mugen is in no way a samurai.

The later episodes will make it crystal clear why.

Jin was a samurai.

By his noble birthright Jin is a samurai, but what he did in his past resulted in his fallen status of becoming a ronin. However, Jin is still able to retain part of his respected and recognized samurai status despite being a ronin by means of his daisho (his two swords). The inclusion of the word "Samurai" is vitally important to Jin's personal character involvement later on in the series.

Samurai Champloo is an good example of a name title that is partially direct and another part of it is indirect. On top of that, it not only stands for something about about the show but is heavily involved in the show.

Sometimes, the only real way to fully understand the name of an anime or any movie/show is to actually watch it. Afterall, some name titles mean something and some do not and some don't have to do with the movie/show at all.

Also Champloo is the name of Mugen's self created fighting style (according to the official Samurai Champloo website)

Call your comic, "Samurai Comic Book"

yez, need the story and stuff first. can't juz come up with a random title not related to the theme and story. I would juz suggest not to put a title with samurai in it, i.e. Samurai (name), coz it would juz seem..not that creative hehe.

The name should have something to do with the STORY you are writing.
If your title is "Samurai Killer X," then everyone will know you can't write.
