I think a good goal would be to draw from life. Posemaniacs is fine and all but nothing beats having a real person stand in front of you for you to draw. Just my thoughts.

I'm liking the color scheme alot better. A muted palette is definitely more realistic and believable. As for drawing things from imagination, I think you should always start with the pose as a whole....
