So.... tired.
I haven't been on this forum in about a week due to basically having a project due every day this week. Including two I should get to about now. On the other hand, watching videos of Ace Combat Assault Horizon has given me ideas on how to make air combat EPIC. Even if it is unrealistic and kinda silly if you know anything about aerodynamics. So pages will be up sometime this weekend.

And the part where things begin to go spectacularly wrong. (You didn't expect them to go RIGHT, did you?)

What happened to the rest of the car? You can see the tail of it one one side of her arm, then the rest of the car just sort of disappears. Also, do some work with them hands. They are too small on both your menz and wimmenz, especially if they're gonna carry 'roun all dem big gunz.

Thanks for the feedback, Az. You're right about the hands, I've been drawing them badly for a while now, and it's been sticking out like a sore thumb. Time to change that.
Didn't notice the disappearing car until you mentioned it, hehe. I should have drawn the piece on the inside of her arm as well. Btw, I've been noticing that my drawings are pretty skewed when I flip them over. Is it apparent like it is now, not flipped? |

That, or stop flipping them, and draw them right the first time. ![]() "Doctor, it hurts when I do this." "Stop doing that. That'll be $75 for the office visit, please pay the receptionist on your way out. Next!"

Very cool pages, Jade. I saw them yesterday when you posted them.
Glad you're still around. I haven't forgotten it myself, I plan on having a few up soon. Hidro, you still around? |

Well I know we're all busy. We been holding it down in the FC, though, since like 2002, haha. Thanks, NEO. I had the whole weekend to do NOTHING so i busted these out using Painter12 and my Intuos4. Never found my niche in the digital media field, but grinding these pages out really helped me see how sick this program can really get. A pencil literally draws like a pencil and same wit the paints and the inks, so I had a pretty good time figuring out some sweet spots for me (2B pencil, scratchboard ink & digital oil paint) that made these pages. All I need to do now is just work more in the program, but I'm liking the results so far. Glad you do too, bro. I'm pretty excited to crank out these next ones.

I would love to join. I need to work on my storytelling, anyway.
Can anyone join in, just like that? |
