Well .... officially I'm a Good Catholic Girl. But while my mother's instilled me with Good Catholic Morals, my father's given me enough aetheist cynicism to make me a heretic ....

Now I shall run away before someone decides to burn me ....

That's what I told my parents after having the triple Bar Mitzvah with my brother and sister and realizing how much money we earned since we never got allowances while growing up.

Worst part of being Jewish is having to go to family holiday parties where you have to meet your wierd and crazy relatives.

I'm not really religious person either.

One part of me feels that there is no God. In that regard, I think the world is simultaneously beautiful, cruel, and unusual. It's giving back and taking from because the world has its own modus operandi.

The other part of me feels that if God does exist, then he's pretty darn good at playing hide and seek.

That one reason why I'm a heretic. I believe that faith is a personal thing, and you shouldn't have to conform your own faith to the rules of one particular Church. ..... Please don't tell the Pope I said that

@Krasnoznamonec: Do you believe in Saints if you're an aetheist?

@KuroNekoSama: Come on, tell us about your deep personal hatred for Christians

@Hiltz: Course God's good at playing hide-and-seek. It wouldn't be any fun for him otherwise, now, would it?

I dont have anything wrong with people who are christian, i just hate the idologies of the religion and how the evangelicals are trying to sell their religion as a product for the masses. I mean, come on, commercials to boost your church's attendence? Someone shouldnt have religion pounded down on them but should rather find it themselves when they're ready.

Agnostic, but functionally atheist.

Btw gremlin, what is synism? I searched on google and dictionary.com but that doesn't seem to be an actual religion, or even a word. You mean cynicism right?

Last time i checked the dictionary.A saint wasn't only refered to to religious people of my dislike.

Observe:

Quote:
2. An extremely virtuous person.
Quote:
3. model of excellence or perfection of a kind; one having no equal

Christian here. It is nice being able to see what everyone believes. I know it was easy to tell if you read through any of the many debates we have here but this is a cool way for it to just be right out in the open.

Another rare anglican at birth.

Not sure what I am now, I'm not really religious. More of a mystic I suppose. I was looking in to zoroastrianism... but I don't know that I'm nice enough.
