Great figure studies, lovin' the one at the bottom right of the second page and the one at the bottom of the first page.

Love the oil paintings too, great work on rendering the different materials in the first one. The metal is particularly striking.

The charcoal just looks great. Awesome work.

great studies and painting, it's great to see how you give a go at all kinds of mediums, and how you succeed!! but I must say I don't understand either how you can do that with charcoal !! even with normal HB I cant help smugging it all over the paper ^^'

My favorites are the traditionals. The paintings are nice, and I especially am fond of the body studies.

rayvon87: thanks the model was pretty good, reminded me of frazetta's tastes.

fabrune: I'm really stiff with pen, so I wanted to exaggerated, thanks~

m3_freak: lol, yeah, I buy a lot of sandpaper, it's the academy style of direct drawing everyone usually learns

mandelak: thanks

goof: Thanks, I want to be proficient in a lot of mediums, but I have yet to master or even really try a lot On my way though!

r@ndom-lamb: lol thanks.

gunvalkyrie: lol, not really, it's figure drawing, so all the info is already on the model.

Retronym: I really like painting now too, it's meditative almost.

AmourFonce: lol, thanks!

Anyways, seeing as how I haven't posted in... forever... here's some new shite. Cosplayers At Anime Expo, they had a figure drawing workshop so we were like, why the hell not.

Workshop: this lady had hella hips, she was fun to draw... oh and a male model too.

Clothed figure workshop, leather stuff.

And finally, an oil painting, master copyof Joaquim Sorollo.

@mandelak: thanks

@Fossilfox: lol, not really, with models all the information is there, it's just choosing what to put down and how.

Well, this week in class, I took a stab at portrait painting (it's a figure drawing class), and I thought I'd post it. Painting mohawk man was fun. Though trust me, it does not look too much like him.

Please do more oil paintings...

Great stuff in here, your pencils, digitals and paintings are all at high level. Don't know what else to say except for that.
