Default Creating Photoshop Speedlines the Sairus Way (now with images)

Howdy Hey, recently I was writing/drawing a short comic, and a few panels needed speedlines, but because I scan my images at a high dpi the speedlines tutorial on the main PolyKarbon page wouldn't work (brushes too small), and thus I messed around in the filters until I found a way to make them myself.. thought I'd share it with you.
Didn't bother putting up any in-progress shots, instructions are pretty clear.

1) Start with a plain white canvas, slightly bigger than the area you want to apply speedlines to.

2) Go into Filters tab at the top of the screen, then into Noise and click Add Noise. Put it at it's maximum ammount of static, set it's Distribution at Uniform and make it Monochromatic.

3) Now go into Filters again, down to Brush Strokes and then select Dark Strokes. Set Blance to about 3, Dark Intensity to about 8 and Light Intensity to about 6.

4) Back into Filters, now go to Blur, and then Motion Blur. Select what angle you want your speedlines to be going at, then set it at almost it's maximum Distance, mine is at 873

5) Go to Image, then Adjust, then Brightness/Contrast. Change the Brightness and Contrast so you get some nice sharp clear lines, removing any wide patches of grey. If your lines come out a bit jagged it's alright.

6) Depending on your results in the previous section you may want to skip this part. If you ended up with smooth lines continue to the next portion. If not, you're stuck with me for a bit more. To sort out your jagged looking lines, go into Filters, then Blur and finally Blur or Blur More, depends on how jagged your lins are. I'd only do Blur More once at the most, regardless of your problems.

7) Now go into Filters, Blur, then Motion Blur. Your settings should be saved from before, so motion blur it up.

8) And there you go, a nice set of speedlines that work at any resolution. If you're still unhappy with the smoothness of your lines, repeat steps 5) to 7) until satisfied.

Well, have fun, hope this helps you somehow! ^.^ First Sairun Tutorial! Go me! ^.^

EDIT: I knew I was forgetting to do something... finally put up images of what they actually turn out like
EDITEDIT: OK then, got myself a photobucket account, so the images should actually work this time.. sorry about that...
