Tell2075. Not a bad link you got there.

Now to the things i like. For reference i show you Miss Volga 2006 Model contest. This round was meant to be with girls wearing military fatigues.

Observe.

I have a question. I hope its okay to ask.

someone posted a tutorial around here about creating a 3d model in either maya or 3d studio max. it was very detailed. In the tutorial he used a girl to demonstrate how. My memory is vague on it considering its been awhile since i seen it. If i remember it waas translated from french. I think the backgroud on the site was either black or blue, maybe both.

Like i say i cant remember it all. but i do remember it being a very well done tutorial. any help would be appreciated.

-edit-

I found it. incase you want it to here you go

I didn't see this link listed anywhere, although I may have missed it. But, if you're looking for some inspiration and someone with a VERY unique style, check this guy out.

He also sculpts his drawings.

**edit 24 Nov 06**

Just stumbled on to this, has a lot of good stuff from Andrew Loomis and much much more.

I've been looking for references or maybe just descriptions of 19th Century American West hair styles, any and all from upstanding gentlemen to the worst outlaw. All I'm finding are womens hairstyles and a couple pics of John Wayne and Clint Eastwood. And of course they have hats on. Even if they have hat-hair I'd like to see it.

I dont know of any off hand. But, I suggest you just do a google image search, or if you won't get in trouble for having some artistic nudy pictures on your computer, check out loomis drawing book, I think I found my file somewhere around here. It has a section on skeletal and muscle systems and also is just an awsome book all around.

That's a good find Wiggle. I'm almost tempted to take a sculpture class now just so I can take his ecorche/anatomy sculpture class eventually. He's not too far from where I'm at.

I gotta admit, I'm a sucker for Disney's animation. I just love it...well, most of it, anyway.

Here's a good link for most things Disney: Disney Animation Archive

FYI, the Design Sheets section is an absolute gold mine.

Default im not sure if you people already know about this..

but e-frontier has POSER FIGURE ARTIST .. well it's got a good amount of 3d rendered body references, just for anyone who doesn't have the time or money for a live model. and it's in 3d, so if you know how to handle 3d rendering programs it shouldn't be any problem.

thought you might want to see it.
