They're really cool!
Anyone know how to draw at least 2 of them????
Could you show me how?

This may help, for the most part they are very geometric. Experiment.

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/...ircle+tutorial
there is the most complex one the rest are pretty simple just try a google image search on "transmutation circle" go to the last page and click to show all results

for a while i liked to do mustang's and ill try to explain how i did it
1. draw the circular flame symbol ( http://www.animecorporation.com/media/fma/symbols.jpg )
2. Draw 2 circles one slightly smaller than the other with step one overlapping the top
3. Draw 2 horizontal lines one about a quarter way down the circle and the other about a quarter of the way up
4. Draw a line from each end of the lines in step 3 to the middle of the other line ( end up with a diamond and 4 triangles )
5. Draw small horizontal lines near the point of the triangles so they look like earth and air from the link in step 1 and draw one final triangle in the top of the diamond pointing upward.
6. Finally, draw what looks like a salamander (I have no idea why) between the bottom most triangle line and the inner circle with the head to the left.

That was probably to drawn out and confusing but i found it kind of hard to put in words. plus you could always make your own with the link in step one.

I have a few episodes on my tivo. If I find the time I could try drawing a few of them from Tucker's secret room (where he turned his daugter and dog into a chimera).

Seeing those reminds me of the symbols for elements that are found in the first edition of the DND Dungeon Master's Guide. . .maybe I'll bring those out and show em to ya, there not really transmutation circles though.

this has a pretty good list of transmutation circles, and even explains some of the functions of each shape, so you can go try inventing your own

I have all the episodes on my computer..

http://altreligion.about.com/library...ultsymbols.htm

lots of their transmutation circles have stuff to do with religious symbols.

I might have a few old books laying around if I can dig them out of the library I might be able to take some pictures for you guys. Most of them aren't in english but the symbols are pretty interesting.
