Default Lemonface Sketchbook

**Updated!! Scroll down for more recent drawings**

ok, so this is my first sketchbook, most of u dont know me but I usually just creep around leaving messages every now and then, and now I do that and I have a sketchbook! Most of these were done at school during athletics day. (flashies was there too )

yes i know the definition of hands and feet but I'm just concentrating on forms for now

You actually have the anatomy down pretty well, the only thing I have to say about that is you should probably study more "dynamic" movements, just to get the flow down (I'm doing that too right now....) I'd really like to see some more detailed faces from you too. Great stuff so far though!!

Default Yearly update

Ha, no updates in a year. With the lack of anything better to do here is the progress I made since last you heard from me (Not that I was active anyway :P). Yes I still love Tekken.

No ref used.

Looks pretty good... I think the torso might be about a half-head too long, but I really can't tell... so post more!

hah your in auckland too ? You have a pretty good grasp of anatomy already, with some work you'd go a long way.

srilyk: I think you may be right about that and yes I will post more! (a little)

Shin: Hey thanks but I'm sure you mean alot of work lol. I don't draw very often and neither do I study much (both school and art) but your comment is much appreciated!

I dunno it started off as a contour drawing as you can see from the random lines but I was looking at some work by Eric Basaldua and just got an urge to draw a chick in there and some random stuff. Also please ignore where the right hand is located...

Default Randoms

Major fail at Hydralisk. Sort of got inspired by some SC2 concept art but it was too frickin hard.

Zergs reminded me of Aliens so naturally...

Pretty uninspired sketch. Wanted to do Snake but sort of zoned out and got bored of it.

Chick with guns.

Chick with sword.

Chick with towel.

As always critical hits are welcome and definitely appreciated!

Good job on the poses, you got them down pretty well. But, maybe you can spice up your drawings with some shading or spiffy linework? It's pretty plain now.

New update! Sorry about the crap quality of these. I was sort of just scribbling these out. When I do eventually do a proper piece I'll put more effort into it lol.

Not much to critique but still always appreciated.

Holidays almost over! Honestly seriously sorry about once again posting bad quality, super rough stuff but these holidays I have almost no time to draw or set into a real drawing session so this craps stuff is all I can churn out which is OK for a sketchbook right? D:

Done in an OC with Flashies, I omitted his drawings T_T. Drawn with a mouse. Horrible creatures.

More improved poop, man I was having a good day with these

Done while listening to "Close to you" by Carpenters. I dunno why don't ask.

One of the very few male characters I've managed to draw that look like male characters.

Middle was supposed to be Nariko from Heavenly Sword but sorta failed. Pretty awesome game.

Halloween! First line started as something else but little kids dressed up for Halloween just shot into my mind. That sounds a bit off.

Dead Space inspired? I dunno.

Still no real pieces yet >

Wow you've got a lot of potential, I can see you're really pushing yourself to try difficult positions and perspectives assuming these are all imaginative sketches. I think you should try and study a lil more anatomy.. maybe a few figurative practice? You definitely have a ton of room for improvement ^^

Woo! Can definitely see improvement, keep it up! Why not take it to another level and do some good ol' anatomy muscle studies? (Go on , you know you want to )
