Default Ze Pink Sketchbook. Now with some figure drawing!

Here I will put every drawing, sketch apophysis render etc. that I feel like putting in there.

Ok first some photoshop signatures )I don't want to fill this sketchbook thread with only these because it isn't the most useful part to get better in drawing. So I will only put my favorites.

Spoiler:

Next, all my cinema 4d and apophysis renders

Spoiler:

Cinema 4d:

Apophysis

Next, my finished old drawings

Spoiler:

I cut out the top half of the one in the top, because it's not something that you would need to see and it took lots of time away from the uploading

Newer drawings
Spoiler:

Not much here since it's been a while since I've drawn

I had 2 burn-outs on this one :

I hate his eyes, it was the start of the period in which I forgot how to do good eyes :( It's not over BTW

My dad is a little busy to scan this one so I could color it well, and jeco discouraged me completely in the SE thread by uber pimping it :(

The guy looked too weird, so Iburnt-out :(

Speed paintings and simply digital paintings
Spoiler:

first one ever

second one ever

Third one ever

Fourth one (Yeah I know, arms are too long)

Real paintings
Spoiler:

Second one (I am too lazy to post the first one) Sorry for crap quality, taking pictures of paintings is hard

And a recent painting of a cat

some 3d stuff

Spoiler:

The making of the head forked up here, so I stoped, will meybe continue it sometime soon

Here where I was at at the head, dog skulls pwn!

Nice stuff.
Your weakest stuff seems to be the hand drawn anime/manga stuff, so I can only conclude that you may like to draw more realistic stuff as well.
The cat is something that you could easily sell if you put it in a cheap pine frame with a glass front for a decent amount of money, enough for beer anyway. The boats are just below that quality in my opinion , but someone would still buy it.
Your 40k drawings are really good. Work on them and you can use a filter on top of them set to "colour" or "hue" to apply the colour.

Thanks, and the boats were oils, they were my second painting ever, and with oils, I HATE the wet the brush, but it looks better live, because the picture sucks XD
And yeah, the cat was my third one, this was acrylics, I did it with Warhammer paint XD

For the manga stuff, atm I am not sure where I want to go, so I ordered the Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain book, I wanted some semi manga or something, but I keep messing up the eyes.

I am not totally against manga. The best way to improve any style is to learn from real life and then draw in a stylised fashion.
Drawing from real life gives you the skills and information needed to draw. It also make your take on a style more unique as you begin to express your experience of the world in a unique style.
personally I think this sounds good thing, what are your ideas on it?

My ideas on manga, reading it bores me and I ain't the #1 fan of it (I used to love it tho), I browsed through this forum and I noticed that the styles that I prefer were more semi manga or more like jeco's style (but I want to see him do a little frail schoolgirl for once). But yeah, I agree with you, my main experience in realism is in drawing cats, I'll show you another cat in a sec, not painted but kick arse.

Here is a WIP:

I am still fixing a lot of it, and redrawing it so I get a cleaner line art.

Small update, I didn't draw a lot recently :(
Spoiler:

Woops, I forgot to crop it out for you tho... I'll put it in spoiler tags then.

The drawing on the left is crap, and the one on the right as his ear too low and his chin that sticks out too much.

your signature is too good to be truth when you can't even handle basic form. Look like you learn how to run before you can crawl. It feel like you can draw Chicago city from above when you can't even draw a straight line. Very interesting. I just can't believe it. I hope I don't sound like a jerk, but this is my honest opinion.

Any suggestions on how to work on that?

BTW: What do you PK people think I should work on the most?

I'm curious on how you did you signature so well. My advice for you now is to open an anatomy book and start learning the bone and muscle first. Some peope really think that if they got an artist sense or talent they can get away with study anatomy. Truth is there's no shortcut, whether you're a genius or an idiot (like myself) you have to remember all the surface anatomy. And I mean ALL!

BTW, I want to see more signature that you have.

That'll be great! Maybe you can give me a brief tutorial. I guess you're pretty good with photoshop then. I'm looking forward to it
